Check whether the listing uses EU, UK, US or another size system. Do not assume that the same number means the same fit across different charts. Ask the seller or buying platform to explain any unclear conversion.
Ask before you decide
Look for the measurement method, not just the number. A foot measurement and an insole measurement are different references. If the chart does not explain what was measured, ask before choosing.
Tell the provider which exact option you want and keep a screenshot of that selection. If you need a warehouse measurement, ask whether it is available and what it costs before relying on it.
When photos arrive, compare the size label and selected option with your record. Photos can help you spot a mismatch, but they cannot guarantee comfort or fit. Resolve uncertainty before approving the parcel for shipping.
