THE PRACTICAL BUYING GUIDES
A QC photo checklist you can actually use
Check the exact item, measurements and visible details in warehouse photos, and ask focused questions before you approve a parcel.
Warehouse photos are most useful when you know what you are looking for. Start with the order details and work through the item in the same order each time. You are checking what is visible, not trying to prove everything from a few pictures.
Match the item to your order
Check the colour, size label, quantity and any visible option details against the record you saved. For shoes, check both shoes and both size labels where available. For a bag or accessory, check that the pictured straps, inserts or other included parts match the listing.
Look at the whole item first
Use the front, back and side views to look for obvious damage, stains, uneven parts or missing pieces. Zooming straight into small details can make you miss a basic mismatch. Lighting changes colour, so ask for a clearer view if the shade is important to your decision.
Request measurements with context
If fit matters, ask for the specific measurements you need with a tape visible and the item laid flat. State where each measurement should start and end. Compare those numbers with a garment or pair you own rather than relying only on a size name.
Make each request easy to answer
Instead of saying "more QC", ask for one close-up of the mark, a view of the fastening, or a flat measurement of the chest width. Point to the exact area and explain what you need to decide. A short, focused request is easier to act on.
Understand the limits
Photos can show visible condition and some measurements. They do not establish authenticity, long-term durability, electrical safety or how a material feels in use. If a question matters and a photo cannot answer it, ask for the relevant information or leave the item out of your parcel.
